Question: I have pain in my esophagus and sometimes when I swallow it feels like the food sticks!!?
Even when I swallow spit! whats wrong!? I take prilosec for acid reflux in fact sometimes I have to take 2 per day!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are a few things!.Maybe an ulcer is the culprit or if you are swallowing air it could be gas!. Its probably linked to the GURD somehow!. Hope you see a Dr!.soon!. in any case I hope you feel better very soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com
How long has then been happening!? if it's only been a few day to a week you may be getting strep throat!.
Point your chin upFeel the sides of your throat right near (about a quarter inch above) your adams apple and see if the lymph nodes are swollen start with your fingers right under your chin then rub them down the sides of you esophagus!.!.!.it should feel concave!.!.if if feels like there are big ridges or little lumps!.!.then they are swollen!.
Next have someone look into the back of your throat (say ahh) to see if there are red or yellow spots!.!.!.
Next, do you have a fever!?
If you have two of these three symptoms (either two (pair) or all three) then go to the doc and get checked out for sure!.
Prilosec is not going to help a sore throat, you need to get some chloroseptic or cepacol lasanges!.
If it has been happening a long time!.!.!.then it could be a little more serious!.!.!.but I'll answer that one if the conditions fit!.!.!.I don't want to scare you!.!.!.!.!.You should be fine!.!.!.strep is rough but it's really no big deal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
