If I think my blood sugar rating is too high, I retest immediately, and it's!
Question: If I think my blood sugar rating is too high, I retest immediately, and it's always lower!. Why!?
I have gestational diabetes!. If I don't like my blood sugar rating, I retest immediately, and it always goes down at least 10 points!. Why is this!? Can I count the second reading instead of the first!?"Www@Answer-Health@Com

My meters are extremely accurate!.They will read within 2 mg/ml of each other!.I agree with making sure your hands are clean!.Also run a control test!.You should have a control solution that will tell you if the meter is reading right!.Usually you put the solution on the strip as if it were your blood, then on the canister of test strips it will tell you what reading you should get in a control test!.Also make sure you have the right code entered if your meter requires coding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Rub the area where you are going to test before you do it!. It helps to bring fresh blood to the area, which makes it more accurate!. Wash your hands to make sure they're clean too!.
Just test once the right way and be done with it!. Re-testing is pointless, these meters can be up to 20% off either way, and that's the legal standard for them!.
If you don't like your reading, make some changes to improve your diet, and get more exercise!. Fudging your test results isn't going to help your baby or you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The home meters are so inaccurate that they are useless for seeing anything but very high or low blood sugar!. If they are closer than 25 points then it is a miracle!. Where you take the blood from and how you take it is important too!. Squeezing to get a drop out makes lymph fluid come out too which changes the reading!. Use any number you like or try a Ouija board as they are similar in accuracy!. The companies love selling those test strips!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Simply put, blood sugar meters are not perfectly accurate!. They give you a ballpark, but not a precise picture!.
Re-testing to fool yourself into thinking you have lower blood sugar than you do is not brilliant!. You have to genuinely KEEP your blood sugar down for your health and baby's health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
