Question: Could this be alcohol poisoning!?
i'm kind of light headed, and i had about 10 ounces of vodka (mixed kinds!.!. 80 proof straight vodka, and two kinds of 70 proof, but had been watered down) today, but it was about 12 hours ago or so!. i had it all in about!.!.!. an hours worth!. I'm about 5'8", 160 pounds or so!. it not so much of a light headedness as it is a all around body "high!." i'm definitely sober!. some slight stomach pains, but i also have really bad acid reflux disease!. i think the "high" could be from nervousness, because i can't go see a doctor!. i'm not real sure what to do because i also can't tell my parents!. this is pretty much my last resort!. so just wondering!.!.!. does this sound like alcohol poisoning!? i've drank some water and ate a ton of bread!. i'm not sure what else to do!. no vomiting, not much nausea at all!. just bad side effects!? third day i've drank in a row, second day i've gotten drunk!. thanks for all the answers in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your light headed because your dehydrated!. Even though you did drink 'some' water, it isnt enough!. The stomach pains are a result of the vodka and your acid reflux!. Take some TUMS, drink lots of water and sleep it off!. Do NOT consume any alcohol for the next few days!. Turst me, you would know if you had alcohol poisoning because you wouldnt be able to even type your question!.

Update: It could take a full day for it to get out of your system, at least the after effects!. I would suggest sleeping it off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope, it's a hangover!. Take 4 regular over-the-counter ibuprofen pills and drink as much water as possible!. And take a nap if you can!.

Alcohol poisoning definitely includes vomiting, and typically involves being unconscious!.

Wow!. That's a lot of drinking!.!.!. what's the occasion!? It's probably just your body telling you it's had enough!. Your liver, and the rest of you, need a rest!.

You don't have alcohol poisoning!. You wouldn't be able to type the question out if you did!. You have one of two things- a hangover, or a flare up!. I have to guess that you are younger!? You said you couldn't tell your parents!. Water is definitely good, but your in a tough spot because of the flux!. Any NSAIDS (advil, motrin) will hurt your stomach!. My suggestion is a heating pad, lots more water and trying to sleep it off!. If you reach for the NSAIDS, take the full dose, but do not exceed 600 mg in 24 hours because of the flux and try to take them within 10 minutes of eachother- that is, if you take a 400 mg dose, take each 200 mg pill seperately, 10 minutes apart!.

NSAIDS- non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs!.

You should stick your finger down your throat and make yourself puke at least two or three times!. If, after a half hour, you're still feeling that way I'd definitely get to the E!.R!. or a doctor!. You need to slow waaay down on the drinking or you're going to kill yourself, if not by alchohol poisoning, then by liver damage!. Not only are you drinking about 5 times the amount you should be in the time frame you're drinking it, but you're not giving your body a chance to recouperate after a long night of drinking!.
