What is the best working home remedy solution for keloids?!

Question: What is the best working home remedy solution for keloids!?
Because my wife has 2 big keloids followed by little ones growing on her chest!. Oh and also some on both of her shoulders!. These keloids are caused from pimples!. If she pops it, it becomes a keloid and if she doesnt pop it, it still becomes a keloid!. She went to the doctor before for some cortisone injections and it has softened and flattened then came right back up again within a week or two!. And she said "hell she doesnt wanna go back to the doctor cause that needle going through that thick keloid felt like a sharp stabbing pain" and she says that from time to time she can still feel that needle injection and it really hurts her!. I dont like that she has to go through this kind of stuff!. Should she go with Baking soda+Hydrogen Peroxide, Apple Cider Vinegar, Aspirin+Water or Potassium Iodide!? Just something so it eases her pain!. Please help!. Any answers will be taken into consideration!. Thanks a bunch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
She shouldn't do anything to the keloids!. Keloids are the way she scars, and anything she does to irritate or inflame the skin will simply make matters worse!. Her best bet is to visit a board certfied plastic surgeon who specializes in reconstructive surgery!. They are the best one's to help with the really bad keloids some people form!. They can't always totally remove them, and there is always likely to be keloid formation, but there are some things they can try to help her!. In some cases, lasers are useful to help smooth them!. In some cases, they can even remove some of the thicker tissue!. It's not a perfect solution, I know- those kind of doctors don't come cheap!. But it may also be covered some by insurance, if the keloids are interfering with her ability to do things!. Keloids are the way she scars, and it's genetic, so there isn't a lot you can do to always prevent them or remove them!. What you don't want to do is anything that will irritate them or a wound in any way, because they will only respond by making more scar tissue!. For any new spots, dings, etc she gets, she should use both vitamin e oil and Mederma!. Generic vitamin e oil is just fine!. Mederma isn't cheap, but what is sold is the same formulation dermatologists and plastic surgeons used for years to help reduce scars in the formation process!. Those two things are about the only home treatments that will help some, and at least not make matters worse!. I wish had better help to offer you, as I know what misery keloids can be for folks who form them!. But honestly, this is the best help I can offer you!. Just don't try those other things on her poor skin- they will not help and they can make them worse!. I don't blame her about the shots, and I will be truthful, I've not seen them help keloids!. Hydrocortizone cream helps with inflammation from things like bites- so it will help calm skin and sometimes prevent a keloid forming, but I've never seen it cure one or even reduce one!. And yes, they are painful injections!. I wouldn't want one myself!. But do try to find a specialist plastic surgeon- not just the guy that rebuilds noses either, but one who does reconstruction for folks who have had burns and such!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

mom had some decent advice, but i think there are some options to consider!. one being a laser spa for microdermabrasion or lasering the spots!. 2 being a burn clinic if there is one in your area, find out the name(s) of the surgeons and have them take a look and see what could be done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
