Question: Black spot on X-ray (radiologist pls help)!?
While looking on my chest x-ray I see a dark round spot under my left lung!. It is about the size of a baesball, it is not perfectly round!. What could this be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dark spots on x-rays indicate more air and less tissue!. White spots mean more tissue and if they are white spots they are usually bone (or calcified lesions)
The lucent (i!.e!. dark) spot on right under the diaphragm on the left is almost certainly the gastric air bubble!. Everyone has one!. It is caused because there is both food and air in the stomach and when seated the air will rise to the top!.

Ask your GP or radiologist as it could be anything from an abnormal mark on the films to something fairly harmless!.
