Question: What should i do about this burn i got at work!?
i work at a fast food restraunt and i ws cleaning the grill this past sunday and my hand accidently bumped the top of the clam-shell grill, then the area was all white where it was burt and within an hour it began to get all red and it got a big blister on it, its been almost a week now and about two days ago i went to change my band-aid at work and it pulled off like all of the skin that was left from when the blister popped that popped the day after it happened, now the area of the burn is all red with like little dots of white within the fresh skin, and it still really hurts when ever its not wrapped up, also it hurts ten times more when i have my hand hanging to my sides for some odd reason, my parents think that if it doesnt look better by monday that i need to go to the doctors to make sure it isnt infected or anything, what do you thionk i should do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I hope you reported it at work!.!.!. if not, you should!. You should go to the doctor too!.!.!.!. to have it documented and to make it better!.
And yes, I would be worried about infection!.

If you are unable to work for a bit because of the hand injury then you will want to be able to access worker's compensation for that time period if you are eligible (Canada at least - don't know about other places!.!.!. your taxes go into worker's comp funding for just that reason- just in case)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The reason it hurts more now is because the skin is regenerating!. What you are experiencing is normal!. Put some Silvadine on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it bad enough to go to the doc then go, but here is the name of a good burn cream!. (Silver Sulfadiazine) "It may be a perscription"Www@Answer-Health@Com
