Answers:
"Exposed to it in the past but negative now" means that you have had the infection in the past, but have cleared the virus naturally through your own immunity!. You don't have the infection any more and are now immune to getting it ever again!.

They can tell this by testing for hep B core antibodies (which indicate an infection at some stage of your life) and hep B surface antigen (which indicates whether it is still there)!.

At least half of hepatitis B infections cause no identifiable symptoms - there's nothing unusual about you not remembering any!.

The tests don't say when you had hep B!. It's passed on sexually, through contaminated needles, and very commonly mother to baby around the time of birth!. It might be worth letting your partner and parents know - one of them might be a chronic hep B carrier without knowing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would talk to a doctor about it because the disease could be dormant in your liver/ blood!. It could also mean that you Hep B series made very strong antibodies and they are present!Www@Answer-Health@Com

How would they know that you've never had symptoms!? You might want to check yourself out again in another two weeks or so!. If your exposure to hep b was recent, your body needs time to create antibodies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
