Question: Can i board a plane if i have a minor cold and cough!?
i've been coughing and my nose has been congested ever since two weeks ago!. i've been to the doc like 3 times, but it's still not getting better!. i also have to board a plane in two days!.
would they let me fly with a cold!? are there any ways to reduce the symptoms!? i've tried the honey and tea thing, the salt water thing, and i've been taking antibiotics for two weeks now!. my doc thinks it might be some kind of allergy in my lungs since im kinda wheezing but my dad think its because my tonsils are unbearably big (i got that from him)!. help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you can board a plane with a cold!. From hard-learned experience, I suggest you take an antihistamine and buy some "Earplanes" for the flight!.
Earplanes are a special kind of earplug they sell at the airport newstands!. They have saved me a lot of pain and temporary hearing loss many times when I had to fly sick!.
I learned about them from a flight attendant after I flew without them when I had a cold!. I didn't get my hearing back for 30 minutes!. I was so freaked out!! : OWww@Answer-Health@Com

you're not supposed to take antibiotics for a viral infection!. have you not taken a decongestant!? and the airlines doesn't care!. an allergic response is not just in your lungs but throughout your respiratory system, so if it's allergy, you need to take an antihistamine!. you'll want to be decongested before flying because the pressure changes will make you very uncomfortable!. just go to the drug store - there are all kinds of OTC stuff for your symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can board a plane!.!.!. I can't tell you how many times I have been sick on a plane or have gotten sick from someone else on a plane!. But what can you do!? If you need to fly, you need to fly!. I suggest boosting up you vitamin c intake (some people swear by Airborne), drink lots and lots of fluids, personally nyquil and dayquil work wonders for me but take the liquid kind because it is stronger (I know it tastes bad), and you may want to get a humidifier, also suck on some zinc lozenges!. Yes you can I did, traveled to Australia and back, through Canada and had a bad cough through the whole holiday as well :o((( NOT asked once the cause of my cough!.
