Okay my best guy friend this morning started vomiting a few times no huge deal right!? But then he started vomiting a lot, yes A LOT of blood!. So they took him to the hospital, his mom told me they think its his appendix!. I don't know too much about medics and stuff and I was wondering if someone can tell me what else could be wrong!? I know I'm probably overreacting but, he means so much to me!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Vomiting blood usually means a bleeding ulcer!. That is when the lining of your stomach or the esophogus (the tube that goes from your mouth to your stomach)!. Your appendix is low in your intestinal tract and when it gets infected it is painful and can cause a fever but not usually vomiting blood!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They'll probably run a ct scan or an ultra sound on him to see if it is his appendix!.
If it is they'll have to remove it!. It's a big procedure but it's fairly routine so there's minimal risk of complications on the surgeon's end!.
Further to that there isn't a huge amount anyone can tell you without knowing how he is exactly!. Try not to worry too much tho hun he probably needs you to be strong for him right now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my boyfriend had to be taken to the hospital because of throwing up and he couldnt get up, it was his appendix!. theres not much to do but take it out, which is nothing really!. just a lot of pain during recovery!. trust me, i worried alllll night about nothing, my boyfriend was so happy to see me when he finished surgery!Www@Answer-Health@Com
There could be many reasons why he is coughing up blood!. Having a ruptured appendix is very scary and can be deadly!. You usuallly have a high fever, and a very sharp pain on the right side of his lower belly area!. This should have been killing him with pain, not nausea!.
