My younger sisters had cancer and the thing that helped me the most through it was my friends!. Just be there for her, weather it be to talk,go out to get her mind of things, or just chill!. Neverrrrr say " it's ok things will be alright!." or "i'm sorry, i know how you feel" Those are both nice things to say, but are far from the truth!. She'll probably have alot of mood swings and not really be herself because its such a emontional time for her and her family!. The best advice I can give is to just listen to her and make sure that she knows you are there for her, not matter what!. I hope this helps! Best wishes to you and your friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can help and support this person by always keeping a positive attitude!. Save the tears for later!. When you're with her, try some craft work, like making a scrap book, having her teach you a craft from her childhood, or just talking!. You might want to begin taking pictures of her doing different things, and later put them together in a scrapbook of your own!. These are great coping tools for you!.Remember, this is going to be a difficult time in everyone's life, but your attitude is the most important thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
