HSV-1 is almost IMPOSSIBLE to determine who gave who the virus!. If you had kissed people or someone who may had touched their lips who had the virus and passed it on to you!. It is very common and about 80% of the population have the virus!. I have HSV-1 cold sores myself!. I haven't had a outbreak since childhood, but I still have the virus!. It is nothing to worry about and just to let you know, you may could of had gotten it from your husband even though he has not had a outbreak or does not remember ever having one!.
If you are really concerned which I do not see it being a big of a deal, you can go get a Herpes type 1 and 2 test with your husband!. Otherwise, there is nothing much you can do about it!. You can go on medication if you like, I never did, but I was a child!. I probably had contracted the virus from my aunt, or father, mother, I really don't know!.!!? It's just so common!. The only thing you need to be aware of is that it can turn into a STD like genital herpes!. Be aware that you can possibly transmit the virus to your husband's genitals which would cause him to get genital herpes!. With condoms, I would not be concerned with oral sex, but unprotected & protected sex is definitely a easy way to transmit the virus to the other partner if one somehow contracted the virus from oral sex!. They say that condoms during protected sex don't always cover where the virus is located whether with a outbreak or not!. A person could be shedding in which you would never know especially when they are not having a outbreak!. Genital herpes, however, is very common as well!. So, it would be best to speak to your doctor just for more information to protect each other!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The most common symptom of a STD is nothing!. Most people do not even know that they have one!. Herpes can lie dormant in your body (never have an outbreak) for up to ten years!. Unfortunately, if you have HSV-1, then your husband most likely does as well and needs to be tested!. As long as you try to keep the outbreaks from interfering in your normal life and be extremely careful when you are in an active break out, it shouldn't effect your quality of life that much!. Around 80% of people have herpes and are living either normal lives, or don't know it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

80% of the population has herpes type 1!.!.!.have you ever had a cold sore or fever blister then it could have been from that!. Most people contract herpes type 1 when they are really young!. If you have herpes type 2 then that's a different story but herpes type 1 is nothing and you probably got it when you were young!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Never listen to the monther in law!.
Get your huband tested!.
and possibly prove her wrong
Then she'll be all !.!.not myy son!.!.!.but then you'lll be all!.!.!.told ya!
but yeah it could maybe be an ex alsoWww@Answer-Health@Com

Normally 15 days after being exposed you usually get a sore, or lesion!. Your husband should get a blood test for herpes for accurate results!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sometime herpes is never detected until years later in a person!. You could have got it from an ex but your husband should be tested!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
