My heart is beating so fast?!

Question: My heart is beating so fast!?
I've completely lost my appetite this past week and have only managed to eat a few mouthfuls of food!. I've lost half a stone in a week!.

I'm 25, 5ft 6, female and 13st 10lbs!. I've noticed my heart beat is really thudding in my neck and I can feel it beating hard even when I have my hands on my stomach!. I've just counted 96 beats a min!. Is this dangerous!? Should I be worried!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds if u r suffering from anxiety, stop trying to listen 2 your heartbeat!. Relax , listen 2 music or anything u enjoy!.
If still concerned c a drWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's more than likely because your body is working harder to pump the blood around because you haven't been eating properly!. Normal heart rate for an adult is between 60-100 beats per minute, so while 96 might feel high, it's still within normal limits!.

Anxiety will make the palpitations worse too, so try and eat something and make sure you keep hydrated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you're heart rate does sound a little fast - resting heart rate should be anywhere between 60-75 beats per min!. a raised heart rate in itself isnt dangerous, i lived with it for awhile but did eventually have to take medication to lower the heart beats!. It should be checked out at your doctors - just to be sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi i was suffering palpitations i got an ecg and im fine they have faded away and dont get them as much try and not worry if u get checked out and your fine then u can relax and mind is connected too your body so when your worried etc it has an affect on your heart!.u could go for a walk might help!.but if worried get checked!.you shoulnt be so aware off your heartbeat as that wont help you!.i know its a horrible feeling its usually anxiety!.if no health problem detected!.oryou could be under the weather!.gud luck xWww@Answer-Health@Com

I could see being a little concerned!. I'd go to some place like Doctor's Care and just get vitals checked or a physical might be in order!. They won't tell you anything over the phone but if you have insurance it would be worth $20+ to find out just to ease your mind!. I don't think 96 is bad but are you stressed out!? Do you use drugs!? Were you drinking!? Anything can cause it to raise like that!. I hope you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

this happens quite alot
in your case it is probably nothing to do with you having bad health!.
mabye you should try eating a bit!.
if nt just ignore it and it will go away !.
its happened to me before just goes away after a while!.
have you been trying to lose weight or doing to much exercize this is a common cause of this hapeningWww@Answer-Health@Com

Could you be pregnant!? I see no other reason to be 5ft 6 and 13st 10lbs!. If you're not pregnant, then the natural concern is that you're nearly the weight of 2 people, in which case you should be worried!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dr will say it is just a virus!. try and eat what you can but the heart beat is to do with being run down!. i get it often and the dr always says the same thingWww@Answer-Health@Com

you should probably see a doctor, the ideal heart rate range is 60-90 beats per min but if you've noticed a specific change you should tell your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
