Question: Help needed!.!.!.!.!?
For skin prick test:

1) If a negative control has a positive reaction, what does that mean!?

2) If the positive control does not show a positive reaction, what could have happened!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
For the skin prick allergen test, negative controls usually employ saline or glycerin!. The two substances are very rarely allergenic, so positive reaction usually means that the individual has very sensitive skin and that results should be interpreted very carefully because of likely false positives!.

The positive control uses actual histamine, the substance produced during an allergic reaction!. If you don't react to pure histamine, then it may very difficult to interpret skin test results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a test question to me!. Do some research on-line!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
