ive heard the hard plastic and the regular water bottles that are sold in the stores give off harsh chemicals that may cause cancer!.!. is it true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Plastic releases chemicals that are bad for you!. but one of the reasons why they do not want you to refill bottles is because the bottle's plastic will break up and and let becteria in!. once the bacteria seeps thru the plastic they will start to colonize in your water!. i believe the maximum refills is two!. You should be worried more about the bacteria than the actual chemicals that results form the plastic breakdown!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are in fact a number of myths circulating about plastic water bottles causing cancer, particularly breast cancer, most of which can be traced back to a hoax email that was widely ciculated!.
There have been several questions about this recently, so I assume the email is doing the rounds again!.

omg i was just discussing this with my father like about 2 hours ago!!!! no way!!!! well from what i know and heard!. when the sun hits the plastic bottles, it releases chemicals into the water so when u drink well its unhealthy!. come on its chemicals!.!.!.!. but thats just my opinionWww@Answer-Health@Com
No, in a nut shell!. There is some evidence that if the plastic is heated to extreme temperatures it can leach into what surrounds it but then you have to make the leap that that would causes cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I heard it can cause cancer, but nobody knows exactly how much of the chemical would be required to actually cause cancer!. Everything causes cancer if you get enough of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
