Question: What are some ways to treat burns!?!?
What are some ways to treat burns, and how can you tell if a burn is third degree or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Evaluate the color of the burned skin!. If it's pink to red (like a sunburn), it's a first-degree burn!. If it's entirely red, it's generally a second-degree burn!. If the skin is white, brown, yellow or black, it's considered a third-degree burn!. Finally, blackened skin ranks as a fourth-degree burn!.

Understand that first-degree burns require three to five days to heal, second-degree burns take two to six weeks to heal, and third- and fourth-degree burns take many weeks to months to heal!.

If you have a second or third degree burn go to the doctor!.
This can turn so bad so fast and never heal, with infection!.
As long as it's initially treated by them you are on the right track to treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

"The categories of burns and their treatment very much depend on the depth, area and location of the burn!. Burn depth is generally categorized as first, second or third degree!. A first degree burn is superficial and has similar characteristics to a typical sun burn!. The skin is red in color and sensation is intact!. In fact, it is usually somewhat painful!. Second degree burns look similar to the first degree burns; however, the damage is now severe enough to cause blistering of the skin and the pain is usually somewhat more intense!. In third degree burns the damage has progressed to the point of skin death!. The skin is white and without sensation!."

To treat a burn, remove any constricting clothing from the burn area!. DO NOT USE BUTTER OR OILS! It's not cooking!. Douse the burn in COOL, NOT COLD water, and not in ice!. If you use cold ior cool water, you can cause more damage and frostbite!. For first degree burns, you can use ointments to treat it, but with second- and third-degree burns, you need to take the victum to a doctor!. A tetanus shot is needed if the victum has not had one in 5 years!. And another point of interest, scald burns are second-degree burns!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off if a burn is third degree that means it has burnt down to the muscle tissue and the victim would be in serious pain and should go to the hospital!. If the burn just broke the top layers of skin than I would recommend rubbing a little bit of honey on the burn and wrapping it up in a bandage!. The honey acts as a natural antiseptic and speeds the healing time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the best remedy for a burn is silvadine ointment, i think you have to have a prescription for it though, but it is wonderful, and third degree will be deep, blood red, look like raw meat, for lack of a better way to describe it, remember any burn is prone to infection so be careful, and good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
