The little animal was probably terrified that's why it bit you but I agree you should go to either your doctor or the the local A & E department because all kinds of infections are carried in the mouth of wild animals!. Raccoons are wild animals and will bite!. Yes, they can carry rabies!. Unfortunately, if you let the raccoon go free, you must go and get a rabies vaccine series!.
