A wheat allergy means that anything made from wheat will give you health problems, many foods contain wheat or their derivatives ie, maltodextrin!. The allergy is caused by a protein in wheat which is related to the protein that effects coeliac disease!. Coeliac disease is caused by the protein gliadin or glutenin which can be found in wheat, rye, barley!.This damages the villi in the small intestine which makes absorbing nutrients etc impossible, which can lead to anaemia, weight loss and other health conditions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
