Toothpaste Allergies?!

Question: Toothpaste Allergies!?
Is there just a thing as one being allergic from using toothpasteWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Dear Beck92,

There are four categories of allergens:
inhalants, contactants, ingestants, and injectants!.

Contact allergens are those that are touched and include such substances as soaps, drugs, chemicals, detergents and dyes!.

Ingestant allergens are swallowed or eaten!. A variety of foods or medications can act as ingestant allergens to persons overly sensitive to them!.

Symptoms of a contact allergy could be any of the following:

Skin becomes inflamed, burning, and itching where your skin has become in contact!.

Some people are allergic to the allergens of chocolate, strawberries and citrus fruits!.

Symptoms could be hives, rash or headache!.

If you think that you may be allergic to your brand of toothpaste or an ingredient in the toothpaste!.!.!.

Read the ingredients!.!.!. and try using another brand of toothpaste!. Eventually you will find the brand or ingredient that you are allergic to

( A note: toothpaste can dry your skin!.!.!. If you do not remove all the toothpaste from your skin, after brushing your teeth!.!.!. the toothpaste can dry out the skin around your mouth and cause the skin to become red and inflammed!.)!.

You may need to use a more natural brand or type of toothpaste!.!.!. without the ingredients that are giving you problems!.

You may want to ask at your grocery or drug store about a toothpaste made from more natural ingredients!. Do you have a health food store nearby!? They also may have a toothpaste that does not bother you!.

Also many people use baking soda!.!.!. cover your toothbrush with water!.!.!. then cover the toothbrush with baking soda!. It is a natural way to brush your teeth but, some people do not like the taste of baking soda!.

I have used it and it is quite different from any other toothpaste!.
Of course a cheaper and equally effective way is to dip your damp toothbrush in bicarbonate of soda, aka baking soda, and use it to clean your teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's possible!. I find certain toothpastes are just to strong for me and burn my tongue!. My tongue is then hurting for a few days!.!.!. I often get small blood blisters in my mouth if i try new toothpastes!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not sure, but sometimes the type of toothpaste i use makes my gums feel all weird!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
