Answers:
If you are pre-diabetic, that means you have reduced insulin sensitivity but haven't yet been diagnosed with full-blown adult onset type 2 diabetes!. In most cases, you can directly reverse this condition and return to a healthy metabolic state by making new choices in your foods and physical exercise!. Remember, diabetes is a disease that is quite easy to reverse if you catch it early enough!. And if you're pre-diabetic, you have an opportunity to reverse the situation right now!.

Reversing it means making some tough choices in your life!. It means, first of all, getting out and engaging in physical exercise on a regular basis!. That's 45 minutes a day of walking, or something more strenuous if you can handle it!. If you can't walk 45 minutes a day, walk 30 minutes a day!. If you can't walk 30 minutes a day, walk 5 minutes a day!. If you can't walk 5 minutes a day, just get up out of your chair 3 times -- do something to increase your exercise stamina, and work towards walking 45 minutes a day!. Everybody can do something!. Sitting around doing nothing is no excuse, and it will directly lead you to full-blown diabetes!. (Diabetics are really good at making excuses!. I know, I used to be pre-diabetic!. I would find every reason in the world to avoid physical exercise!.)

The second thing people can do is give up all foods that promote diabetes!. This means foods that contain ingredients like refined white sugar, sucrose, corn syrup, high-fructose corn syrup, dextrose, white flour, enriched flours, and so on!. So that means getting rid of all ice cream, cakes, cookies, sweets, desserts, candy bars, etc!. These foods are causing your diabetes!. Now, you won't hear this from the American Diabetes Association, because that organization is, to put it bluntly, actually thriving on the skyrocketing trend of diabetes in the United States!. I've never found the ADA to actually give beneficial nutritional advice that would help people reverse diabetes!. Remember, they are funded in large part by pharmaceutical companies who would actually lose customers if people reversed their diabetic conditions!. It's not a conspiracy: it's just plain old corporate greed

Don't forget its a tough road!. Commitments for life!. But it is your choice and its better than having full blown diabetes and you have to do these eating and exercising commitments anyway!. Good luck on your journey!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think you can reverse it, but you CAN stop it dead in it's tracks!! Start by cutting out or limiting your refined sugar, like sodas, candy, and even canned fruits with syrup, and limit your carbs, especially starchy foods!. Try one potato OR two slices of bread, and try to keep the amount of carbs you eat in one day to 225g, or 15 carbs!. One carb = 15g, and you should try for no more than 5 carbs (75g) per meal!. Exercise regularly to control your weight, and keep an eye on your sugars!. Normal levels should be between 70 and 110 first thing in the morning before breakfast (fasting), between 110 and 130 2 hours after a meal, and under 180 at all times, no matter what you ate or how long ago you ate it!. Pre-Diabetic levels are 110-125 fasting, 130 - 150 after meals, and under 200 at all times!. Anything higher than that is Diabetes!. Control your lifestyle and habits now, and you can delay or even prevent the onset of Diabetes later!! Best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is nothing you can do to prevent it!. However, you can control it with diet and exercise!. Some type twos and pre diabetics control this way!. You will have to watch your diet closely, limit carbs, get daily exercise, see your doctor regularly!. Controlling this way means very tight control, and not everyone can do it because it takes a lot of will power, but it can be done!. Diabetes can not be reversed!.!.!.just well controlled!. Sign up for some diabetic ed!. classesWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes, you can!. you can send it into remission, which is probably the same as reversing it!. Semantics I guess!.

Be physically active, as you can!. speed up your BMR (basic medibalic rate)

Watch your diet!. Eat healthy!. Don't eat as much, if you are over weight!.

Those are the keys!. Diet and exercise and losing weight!. I have friends who no longer have to take meds/shots!.

Unfortunately, I still have weight to lose!. But, if I watch what I eat, AND exercise, as I am able, sometimes I do not have to give myself shots, or at least no as many!.

Also, if you can, consult a doctor!. Maybe get an A1C, which is a blood test that give a better picture than just a one time check with a meter!.

Best wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
