Whose going to pay for the NHS if everyone gives up smoking?!

Question: Whose going to pay for the NHS if everyone gives up smoking!?
Answers:
In the UK spending on health care as a percentage of GDP increased to 9!.4% in 2006, which is about 90 billion GBP!. The total tax revenue for that year from tobacco was only 8 billion!. This means that if every penny from tobacco tax went to health, which of course it doesn't, it would still cover less than 10% of the health budget!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Look Scoob', although lots of Tax payers get ripped off by over-paid GP's working for private patients, the majority of our money goes to Armed forces they don't care where it comes from they will make up any excuse to Tax us and will feed us with any old bull to justify it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They'll be really happy for them :)
It's prob not gonna last on taxes alone much longer anyway, so it wouldn't make much difference financially, just speed up privatisation!. Would do public health the world of good though, wish it would happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
