If you are lucky, the acne will eventually come to a head and can be safely removed, cleaned, and the pore will heal!. I'm not sure that any of the treatments you give it right now will make a difference, depending on how long it's been there!. I've heard some nutty ideas about it, but basically every pimple is a clogged pore that gets backed up with the sebum it is supposed to excrete to help waterproof the skin!.

Letting the sebum continually allow to congest under the skin is not a great idea as it can eventually become a larger cyst, get infected, and dig down into the epidermis, eventually permanently damaging the victim from a range from death to permanent scarring!. Since pimples on the face tend to expel heal more quickly, this is less of a risk than if they were in less accessible places!.

How do I know!? I have one in the very center of my back and, being single and living on my own, I couldn't get it out!. It grew and grew until I finally went to the doctor, who then decided on minor surgery and removed a spherical cyst the width of my pinky fingernail!. Afterwards, it regrew and he began calling it a benign cyst, but will require monitoring to make sure it doesn't develop into a cancer!.

Fun stuff, huh!?

So when you can pierce the pore (carefully!) with a cauterized needle and let that icky sebum out, do so!. It's not healthy allowing it to clog up like that!Www@Answer-Health@Com
