Question: Cut my finger - contract a disease!?
I was repairing something and I deeply cut the skin of my thumb!. It started bleeding!. I didn't do anything and went on because it wasn't much of a cut!. Then I thought well the thing I am repairing (it is a laptop recharging adapter) has been on the floor in a hospital!. Can I catch something!? I mean I cut the skin then I had blood on my finger (skin wasn't detached) and I noticed blood on the adapter which means there was contact between my thumb and the adapter!. I washed my finger now with soap but I am worried!.

regardless if it was in a hospital, your house, or fresh from the package you could get an infection!. wash it well and use antibiotic ointment!. if it gets red or hot or swells see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
