The human body is amazing!. There is so much to learn and it's great that you are interested!.

I'm not an expert, but I know that the heart is an involuntary muscle!. Signals are sent to it from our brains and it knows to pump blood throughout our body so our tissues can receive oxygen and nutrients!.

Our skeleton helps to hold all of our tissues together!. It allows us to have a form instead of being a glob of muscle!.!.!. Bones have many functions and some bones even contain marrow from which blood is produced!.

If you have an interest in this, get some books on your own!. You also can check out some DVDs from the library!. You never know, you might become a doctor one day!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heart beats are generated by the natural pacemaker of the heart known as the sino atrial node (SA node)!. The electrical pulses from the sinus node are conducted down the conducting system of the heart into its different parts!. Electrical pulses cause synchronized contraction of the various heart muscles so that heart is able to beat in a sequence!. If any part of this sequence is upset, serious disorders of the heart can occur!. The branch of study which deals with this is cardiac electrophysiology!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Electrical impulses are sent through the muscles in the 4 chambers of the heart!.

The chambers contract and expand in order for the blood to flow through it into the lungs and the rest of the body!.

Our entire body is controlled by electrical impulses, nerve synapse help keep us operating smoothly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The heart is "powered" by an electrical conduction system!. This system provides the energy for heart muscle contraction!.

The skeletal system provides support for the body and also protects vital organs!. For example the skull protects the brain, the ribs protect the heart and lungs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
