Question: Can smoking give you pimples and a more regular occurrence of large blackheads!?
i smoke and get the odd pimple now and again but more recently i have found a few really large pain full blackheads in weird places, and i thought maybe the toxic chemicals might be affecting my skin as it's been clear since i reached my early twenties then i picked up smoking 6 years ago when i was 22, now i've got these light breakouts sometimes, is it the smoking, if it is i'm going to have to quit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Smoking is downright unhealthy for your skin!. Yes, it is the smoking that causes pimples!. The harsh ingredients and chemicals in the cigarette clog pores and slow down healing!. So your pimples take longer to go away cuz everything slows down when you start smoking!. If you pick at them, your skin is 45% less to heal it fast!. It also makes your skin look older and wrinkles will most likely come early!. You will end up with a lot of scars if you dont quit, cuz when you smoke, scars rarely heal and leave marks!. I would quit regardless!. And if you want to have clearer skin, wash your face at least twice a day and drink a lot of water!. If you drink soda/pop that causes a lot of pimples and blackheads too!
