Do cell phones really cause brain tumors?!

Question: Do cell phones really cause brain tumors!?
It has been said that cell phones are the cause of brain tumors nowadays!. But today as I was researching my concerns it came to my attention that the only law suit ever brought against cell phone companies was dismissed due to lach of evidence!.

So my question is, "Has there been any studies that have proven that cell phones result in brain tumors!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Case-control studies have shown that those who regularly use a mobile phone on one side of the head have an increased risk of glioblastoma (the most serious type of brain tumour) on that side of the brain; but a reduced risk of glioblastoma on the other side of the brain!. These balance each other out, so overall the risk of glioblastoma was not affected by mobile!. This is clearly a case of selective recall bias, where someone with a right-sided tumour is more likely to report using their phone on the right side, having already made that link subconsciously!. Recall bias is one of the downfalls of a case-control study (ie taking groups of patients with and without a disease and asking them retrosectively about risk factors)!. The only way to know for sure about the risks of mobile use is a randomised trial - take large groups of healthy individuals, instruct half of them to use a mobile phone regularly and ban the other half from using a mobile phone at all - follow them up for 10-20 years and see what happens!. As far as I'm concerned, the potential benefits of mobile phones outweigh any theoretical risk - for example, emergency services can be contacted much more quickly than in the days when we had to search around for a public phone box - I'm sure many lives have been saved because of the rapid access to emergency services afforded by the abundance of mobile phones!. By the way, I'm not a phone salesman, I'm an oncologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are no studies that prove cell phones cause brain tumors!. All evidence in casual at best!.
The most recent study came out of Sweden and said there was coincidental evidence, but nothing solid!. As of this time scientist and doctors can not say what causes brain tumors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
