Question: Can a staff infection be caused by airborne pathogens caused from stray cats!?
My father in law was just admitted to the hospital with a staff infection and they could not find a single cut on him!. I was wondering if airborne pathogens could cause a staff infection as well!. They have some stray cats and that is why i was askingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Staph infection can be airborne!. Staph germs exist in our noses, hands, etc!. Not likely to get transmitted by stray cats however!. Unless he handles their feces and then did not wash his hands before eating!.

I have a staff infection right now from hair clippers!. But since I have a beard, its unnoticeable!. I wish him the best, because staff infections are quite unbearable when they spread to your respiratory tract!. Tell them to take it seriously because hes older, and runs the risk of systemic infection due to decrease immune system functioning!. Get that good medicine!
