Answers:
When you have an episode, make a food journal of what u ate the entire day!. After awhile, you'll be able to see a pattern of foods that upset your stomach and learn to avoid them!.

Take more fiber, or eat more foods with fiber!.

Avoid eatting candy or gum with sorbitol!.(most gum, unfortunatly)

And when you have the urge to go to the restroom, go right away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Food diaries are a good start, learning what sets your tummy off!. I was speaking with a dr!. not too long ago, and she said that some basic tai chi moves and tapping your tummy in a clockwise direction, hitting each hour (12 taps), helps to get the stomach moving in the proper direction for digestion!. If it gets painful, ask the dr!. for some Bentyl!. Watch your dairy!. Drink lots of water to keep your system flushed!.
She also said that eating lots of fiber should help!. Personally, I get worse with lots of fiber!.!.!.too painful, but she said that it's a process that you should try and reach, eventually!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is psychogenic!. You need a psychotherapist!. Maybe hypnosis or acupuncture or biofeedback--or even tai chi--will work, but that's just temporary!.

The article written about it in Wikipedia is a good one, but you have to understand the medical jargon!. The term "functional" is used to describe symptoms that have no apparent physical cause!. "Functional" chronic abdominal pain and "functional" constipation are very common psychological conditions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
