Answers:
The bodies first response is to surround the effected area with fluid!. Since pneumonia occurs in the lungs this will also cause increased cough as you system moves the excess fluid up and out!. The extra fluid also acts as an inhibitor to oxygenation and an increased irritant stimulating bronchspasms and airway constriction!. So you will most likely have adventious breath sounds and possibly hypoxemia!. As a result of this you will see a 'flight or fight' response!. This is measured by increased blood pressure, increased heart rate and increased respiratory rate!. The pupils of the eyes also dilate!. On blood tests If the pneumonia is bacterial the WBC's will rise and if it is viral they will drop!. Temperature will increase in bacterial infection and will only rise minimally inviral if at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
