Mononucleosis question?!

Question: Mononucleosis question!?
I had mono last summer!. It was horrible and I do not wish that horrible sickness upon anybody in the world!. The thing is, last week, my boyfriend and I were hooking up and I was not feeling well!. It took me a week to get an appointment!. When I went, I found out that I had a kidney infection!.
Could this possibly be a relapse!?
Can I give it to my boyfriend during a relapse!?
My boyfriend means the world to me and like I said earlier, I would prefer it if I never got it or if anyone got it!.
I was pretty much left in the dark about what mono is until I looked it up so any information would be well appreciated!.
I will up the rating if anyone gives me useful information and favorite the best answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Having mono a year ago has nothing to do with your kidney infection now!. You can not give your boyfriend your kidney infection!. A kidney infection and mono are two different things!.
If you get mono again, then yes it would be very easy for your boyfriend to catch it too!. (they call it the kissing disease) Since it has been about a year, you would of had a relapse of mono long ago!.
I had it in 10th grade for a month, it was horrid, but I never got it again!.

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice for your kidney infection! Feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure if the kidney infection was due to another mono infection your doctor would of told you!. Mono is contagious and your doctor def would of told you if you had it!. Kidney infections can be due to all kinds of different things!. Not drinking enough water, drinking too many sodas!.!.!.etc!. However, you should ask your doctor what caused the infection as to not do it again!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
