TB test is kind of red?!
Question: TB test is kind of red!?
I had a TB test yesterday and I go back tomorrow for them to read it then next Monday I go back for my other arm!. Well on my left arm where they tested its kind of like reddish its not raised it just looks like I had just scratched it!. I showed my mom and she said its ok but i dunno I'm freaking out!. Is that normal or did I maybe have a reaction!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

mine always turn red, and itch!.!.!.sometimes I forget and scratch it (not supposed to do that) and I have NEVER had a positive TB test!. It is not determined by the redness but by what is called an induration(hard swelling), then the next step would be a chest x-ray!.!.!.!.sometimes people have false positives to the skin test!.

Dont jump to conclusions!.Itching is normal!.If there is a ring type lump only then it is positive!.Also if someone has taken anti-TB medicine the TB test will always show + in his life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
