She is 3 months pregnant and for the past 3 months she has been taking care of her mother who passed away two weeks ago!. Anyways I have not cheated and I highly doubt that my wife has too!. We have been so busy with our first child and then with the passing of my mother-in-law!. This freaking thing could have not come in a worst time!. Now, my wife is blaming me and is threating to leave and take my children!. I cannot blame her this is an STD SO IT HAD TO BE BY SEX, RIGHT!? Anyways I have not done anything to jeopardize my marriage and family!. Is there anyway you can get this dumb disease other than sex!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Chlamydia is only contracted through sexual contact; specifically sexual intercourse!. I was going to say that your wife may have had a false-positive test since she is pregnant (for some reason pregnant women more so test positive and when the confirmation test comes back, they didn't have the std); however, you stated you were tested and were positive also!.
Chlamydia also is not the disease that lasts for years and seeing she didn't test positive with the first child, it should be considered a recent infection!.

I can't say you guys cheated or how you got chlamydia, but it IS only contracted through sexual intercourse!.

Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is passed through sex!. You need to get tested too!. Then try to figure out which one caught it and from who!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chlamydia is a bacterial infection that is transmitted during contact with the genital or rectal area of an infected person!. The majority of people who contract chlamydia are under the age of 25!. It is a disease that often does not produce symptoms, so it possible to have it, not realize it, and pass it to someone else unknowingly!. The one absolute way of preventing chlamydia is to avoid genital sexual contact!. Chlamydia is treated with antibiotics!.

Chlamydia is often called "the silent epidemic!." People with chlamydia may have very mild symptoms or no symptoms at all, so the condition is often overlooked!. If left untreated this infection can lead to serious damage to the reproductive organs!. For women these complications include pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), infertility, and a dangerous condition of pregnancy called ectopic pregnancy!. This happens when the embryo starts growing outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes!. As the fetus develops, it can cause a life-threatening rupture of the tube!.

after many web searches i am affraid this is the smae answer on all only transmitted via sex !. Chlamydia can be present for months without producing any uncomfortable symptoms [Table 1]!. Because chlamydia does not always cause symptoms, it is called an asymptomatic diseaseWww@Answer-Health@Com
