Answers:
ANY alcohol consumption by someone with Hep C is too much!. Hep C damages the liver, and drinking alcohol will only cause more damage, and increase the likelihood of death sooner, rather than later!. It isn't really possible to say how long before she kills herself!. Focus on getting her to QUIT DRINKING, because she is KILLING HERSELF!.

(You have asked this question several times, and I have answered it at least once before!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

all hepatitus (A B & C) are diseases that effect the functioning of the liver!. alcohol and caffiene should be avoided as much as possible by anyone afflicted with hepatitus!.

the is a treatment available for hep C which is effective in approximately 50% of cases!. the course of treatment takes about 6 months and 6 months afterwards it can be determined whether or not the treatment was successful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ABSOLUTELY NOT, Hep C is a liver disease in itself!. That is so bad she knows she should not be drinking!. Well she needs to have a liver function test!. And the olive skin in a sign of jaundice which is basically liver failure!. I hope this isn't a joke!. Cause it's not funny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you might want to get yourself tested for hep c yourself, it is highly contagious and is passed sexually most of the time a person contracts it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is NOT highly contagious!. I don't know where the other poster got that info from!. Obviously she is not a smart nurse!.

Drinking will only speed up the liver damage that hep-c may have caused and will continue to do more damage if she continues to drink!.

Her skin could be getting tan because it is summer!. Juntise(sp) causes the skin to turn yellow and the whites in her eyes could turn yellow too!. Fatige(sp) is also another symtom!.

I have hep-c and I too drink from time to time!. It's stupid, I know but it is a risk I take!. I don't show any symtoms and had hep-c for several years!. I'm getting a biopsy next month to find out how much damage I have and get treatment for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
