Question: Do you believe Marijuana should be decriminalized for medical use!?
My Mother has a debilitating disease and its legal in Oregon for medical use, But I was wondering how do people really feel about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Think about it!. Cocaine is a Schedule II drug, which means that a doctor can legally prescribe it!. When have you heard of a doctor prescribing cocaine!? But it can be done legally!. Marijuana is a Schedule I drug because it has no approved medical use!. We know it works for cataract patients and MS patients, but it doesn't have an "approved" medical use, so it's a Schedule I drug!.
There are researchers who are ready and willing to test marijuana to find and get approved a medical use, but the government, which issues the licenses to work with illegal drugs in medical testing, refuses to issue the licenses for the researchers to grow their own plants for testing!. The government produces their own plants for an ongoing research study, but they won't allow anyone else to test it themselves!.
What exactly are they afraid of!?
What harm would it be to make it a Schedule II drug!? It's still classified as "highly addictive" (which is also suspect, but we'll not go there), but it would have an approved medical use and could be prescribed by doctors!.

Think about it, its only a plant!. Docotors come up with worse things for you such as Oxycodeon ( Percasets) that are addicting and give ur around the same high, maybe better, than marijuana!. Put it in perspective, if a doctor could just extract THC and put it in a pill!. It whould help the patient out and since marijuana is alot easeir to make than some other chemicals in drugs it whould be economical!. As long as its heavily controlled, MD MJ is not a bad thing!. Some legal drugs like beer whould not even be considered to help others, imagine being subscribed a sixpack and a pack of ciggerettes!. Marijuana is a cash crop so it will never be legal unless the goverment can dip their hands it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i think that it should be legal in all ways!.
it's not like people do really bad stuff on it, it can only **** someone up so much!. maybe there should just be like a limit (like drunk driving, if you're over some number it's illegal)

Yes!. Anybody who has had chemo could really benefit from a few puffs of Marijuana!. The drug helps fight nausea, and increases the appetiteWww@Answer-Health@Com
