Cant get rid of lice ! any help ?!

Question: Cant get rid of lice ! any help !?
I have a severe lice problem!. It started back in May right before school ended!. I got a haircut from what seemed to be a nice salon but about a week later I found a few bugs in my hair!. It was so awful because no matter what I tried over the counter the lice never went away ! I even got a prescription ! Now I'm still finding lice and it's July ! I'm going nuts and I cant see little red patches on my head!. I think I'll try the listerine remedy but does anyone know anything else I can do to get rid of these demon bugs !? Anything helps!. Preferably if you've actually had lice please!. Thank you so much(:

All you need is either olive oil or vegetable oil and a shower cap!.
Put the oil in your hair and your hair in the shower cap and sleep like that over night, wait til about 12 hours then shower, they should all be dead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shaving you head is the easiest but probably the most embarrassing way to do things!. There are many shampoos you can use!. Make sure you wash thoroughly too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get some headlice shampoo and ask your docter to give you a bath in some liquid that kills all of them i dont know what its called!. you might have to shave your head, but probly notWww@Answer-Health@Com

You can try Sulfdene dog shampoo for fleas and ticks!.My granddaughter couldn't get rid of them either from school, this worked for her!.Be very careful about getting in face or eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Brenna,

Here is what we did and it worked after being frustrated for a while:

The chemical shampoo that you buy ends up with mixed results for many!. Alot of head lice are becoming resistent to the chemcials that once worked and many people are choosing to not pour chemicals all over their heads!.

For a good chemical free approach that works, you will need to use something like the NitFree line of chemical free head lice products to get rid of the ones that are chemical resistant!. This is happening more often now than ever before!.

NitFree has a great mousse that works to dissolve the glue that is holding the nits to your hair!. Their comb is great as it is a high quality comb that pulls the lice and nits out of your hair!. And I would say that the comb is the key!. If you do not get all of the eggs (nits) out, you will just have them hatching again in a week or so!. Our daughter has thick long hair and this comb worked for us!.

You will likely want to use the mousse twice (two bottles) and then after two applications of it, I would just coat your hair with conditioner and comb through with their comb wiping it on a tissue to see if you are getting any nits out!.

We buy the NitFree products at kleen-free dot com!.

Additionally, you need to make sure that all of your clothes and bedding and pillow have been washed and/or dried at very high temperatures to get rid of the lice that may be off your body right now!.

Good luck!. You can get rid of them this way and you are not doing harm to yourself or the environment with this solution!.

Hang in there!.!.!.they say that 1 out of 10 kids have head lice at an time so you are not alone and if you do not get a good comb to get rid of the nits and if you do not do all of the laundry necessary, then you will just keep getting them or not getting rid of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is NOT that difficult to get rid of a lice infestation - and more than one treatment will do the trick nicely, especially if you followed the directions precisely and removed the egg sacs (nits)!.

I know you won't want to hear this, but are you quite certain it's lice!? Go see a dermatologist or the public health department and ask them to look for evidence of lice!. There are other skin conditions that cause red patches on your scalp so it would be wise to find out what it is!.

There is also a condition called delusional parasitosis!.!.!.an illness that causes people to think they are infested with bugs!. Please make sure that you aren't suffering from this, because it can be very frustrating and will cause people to dig at their skin and use harsh chemicals on insects that don't even exist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My children have caught lice several times and therefore I've been caught out too!. we all have thick, long hair so it's a major problem to get them all out but there is no way that I am going start shaving heads!

I start with a treatment on a Saturday morning (Full Marks Solution) and then comb out!. This treatment leaves your hair looking really greasy but I think it's worth it!

The combing out is the important bit!. There is a comb you can get from Boots Chemist that has longer teeth than traditional nit combs!. It cost's
