Is it normal for older guys to have bad acne?!
Question: Is it normal for older guys to have bad acne!?
Just wondering, out of curiosity!. My boyfriend is 26, and his acne can be very bad at times!. I myself haven't had BAD acne in years, and I'm younger than him!. (Also, mine went away almost completely a few months ago after I started birth control!.) It's not that I want to push him to "cure" it or whatever, I was just honestly curious - is it normal for guys to still have it really badly even into their late 20's!? Does it ever clear up on its own!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 36, and still have the dreaded acne!.!.!.!.!.!.of course it's considered to be a teenage problem, but it can occur at any age, mine is no where near as bad as it was when i was younger!.I think in many cases, it does tend to lessen or clear up completely the older a person gets, but its not always the case!.
The best treatment ive used with great success is a benzoyl peroxide cream, ideally it should be used twice a day, every day, always be gentle when touching your face, rubbing it harshly when washing or applying face creams can really irritate the skin!.

My dad is 51, and he has acne!.
I use this brand (i forgot the name) and it's kinda a roll-on thing with a little alcohol in it to burn off the dirt in his pores!.
Me and my dad use it!. My doctor recommended it!.
If he's been picking at them, and he uses something like the thing I use, it will sting for about 2 seconds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
