Hpv and a typical cells....do i have cervical cancer?!

Question: Hpv and a typical cells!.!.!.!.do i have cervical cancer!?
On may 1st i had a pap come back with a typical/abnormal cells and also was positive for high risk hpv!. My doc wants to see me back asap to do a scope but i have no insurance (i was on medicaid at the time because i had my son on valentines day)!. I am scared to death that i have cancer!. I want to adventually have another baby and i want to be around to raise my 5 month old son!. What are the chances it could have just been one of those off results (i know you can get a false positive on atypical cells) even though the high risk hpv is present!? What are the chances it is full blown cervical cancer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Relax!. One of the HPV (Human papilloma virus) causes the abnormal or atypical changes in cells of the cervix in a Pap smear!. If untreated, it could progress in several years to cancer!. Meanwhile there is successful treatment!. First the Dr wants to directly look at your cervix through a scope (colposcopy) and use a solution which stains any suspicious areas which he can then immediately take small biopsies of for tissue examination in the lab under the microscope!. Worse and progressive bad diagnoses include words such as mild, moderate , or severe dysplasia, OR CIN (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia) which goes on to cancer-in-situ!. These are probably years away for you, if at all!. Just proceed as your doctor plans and you need not worry at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a similar experience pap was abnormal they found pre-cancerous cells!. Doc said from a scale of one to ten I was at a one!. It is very common with alot of women!. Doc told me I could stay at one for years and be fine or it could gradually move up!.It just depends!. Just get a pap every 6 months to keep track of it!. You can go to any free clinic for that!.FYI condition is called dysplasia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
