Question: Does poison ivy leave scars!?
I have poison ivy ALL over my forehead and left cheek and behind my ears and on my stomach and legs and wrist!. Does it leave scars!? I am taking steroids for it and have put anti-itch lotion on it!. It has been almost 5 days since I first noticed the rash and it doesn't itch nearly as much as before!. I did scratch the poison ivy in the first one or two days I had the rash but I did not pop any blisters!.
Will the poison ivy leave scars!? The rash is still bumpy but it is not as red anymore and it barely itches now!. What are the chances of scarring!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I highly doubt you'll get scars!. Just keep it clean and don't itch it!. Also, AVOID THE SUN until it is completely gone because that will slow down the healing a lot!. The slower the healing, the more likely you are to get scars!.
It might be a couple weeks before your skin is completely back to normal, but you'll be fine!
