Answers:
They print what they get paid to print not what is best or perhaps they just don't know!. It is like the doctor who got paid to tell people alcohol was good for their stomachs!. That is just what the people wanted to hear but not what is best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not all chocolate is full of sugar!. Cocoa powder has no sugar in it!. You can make chocolate with Splenda that you can hardly tell from the real thing!. Chocolate itself, the chocolate part, not the sugar part, has lots of good stuff, anti-oxidants and stuff like that!.

I am diabetic and I LOVE chocolate!. You just have to treat it with respect, eat it in moderation!. That means one mouthful once in a while, or two mouthfuls after a meal, or four squares before I go out on my walk!. If you watch your blood sugar and keep it under control, you know how much you can get away with!. But even that little bit of chocolate makes me happy! And my A1C is under 6 so I'm not giving it up, so there!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps the most interesting tidbit here was learning that scientists working for Mars, Inc!., "the world leader in cocoa science," have been studying the health benefits of chocolate for at least 15 years!. They've developed a method to determine the amount and type of flavanols found in various foods, and a database to store this info, featuring a special table comparing different cocoas and chocolates!.

Happily for Mars, their CocoaVia? Bar, Dove? Dark Chocolate and Cocoapro? cocoa powder apparently rank much higher in flavanol content than most competitors!. That's because they're using "patented and proprietary methods of processing cocoa beans to retain as much of their naturally occurring flavanols as possible!."

Low Sugar Chocolate (the dark kinds) are recommended but in moderte quantities!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every diabetic should know (I hope!) to follow new trents with a grain of salt! Nothing is "Good" for everybody!. Even the milk corporations had to change their ad, because "Milk" is NOT good for every body!
If your friend ate him self to death from chocolate then Im sorry for him but how stupid can you get!? Doctors give us diabetic's a diet to follow yes you can add a small piece of chocolate but to die from it!!! Crazy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can die from eating too much chocolate if you are a diabetic!. Chocolate is no good for diabetics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some very, very, low sugar chocolate (the dark kind, unlike hersheys) is good for everyoneWww@Answer-Health@Com
