Question: Type one!!!!?
I'm 15 and i have had MODY for about 3 years, diabetes run's in my family, my G-dad has type 1, my mom type 2, and all of her bro's and sis's have type 1, about a week or so ago i had a really bad Hypo and my sugar level went down to 2!.7mmol and it was really hard to get it back up again, everyday since then i have been having hypos 2-3 times a day, i'm always tired, peeing alot more, feeling sick, always thirsty and hungry!. My mom is gonna take me to the Dr to get me tested, What do ya think the chances are that i will have it!?! How will it affect my school life etc!?!

Oh boy you have the typical symptoms of diabetes specially the hereditary factor is high!. Your mum should take you to a doctor for the routine test and they will tell whether you are type one or type two (you are most likely to fall into type one because of your age)!. If diagnosis is positive don't worry you have to adjust your diet and lifestyle and with medication you will lead a normal life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
