How can I sooth my mosquito bites, that are 2 weeks old and still itching?!

Question: How can I sooth my mosquito bites, that are 2 weeks old and still itching!?
Hello, Im fully aware of all the treatments out there for mosquito bites etc, but would like some advice about whether my 2 week old bites should still be itchy and inflamed!? (I got them in greece, never had them before) They seem to have healed a fair bit compared to what they were like, but some keep going red again and itchy, then they settle, then they inflame again, is this normal and will they eventually setle down!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you have not broken the skin vinegar is perfect relief just pour it over in the cap of the bottle!. !.
If the skin is broke the mind is the only answer, mind over matter (Will Power),
Don't itch at them every time you go to itch count to 20 or think of a great time of your life:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

As already mentioned, sounds more like sandfly bites!. Am speaking from recent experience of both!.!.!.
Got bitten at the airport on the way home from Jamaica 5 weeks ago and spent following 5 days with a foot double in size; I had to use a walking stick! Had antibiotics (no good), antihistamines (reduced itching), steroids (reduced swelling) over the following 3 weeks and finally got my shoes back on 4 days ago!. Currently using the homeopathic remedy Apis mel 30c (Nelsons) which my osteopath recommended!.
My foot has been quite tender but since using the remedy this last week, it seems to finally be getting back to normal!.
Be patient, and avoid the doctors is my honest advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

boil up some water and put a few spoonfuls of salt in the water get a few cotton wool pads and soak them in the water do not wring the pad out but place it on the bite as hot as you can manage and leave it until it goes cold repeat this four or five times and what should happen is that as the pad cools and dries it should suck out anything that is inside the bite but the water has to be as hot as you can possibly handle it!!
i hope this has helped you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

try vinegar it works really well!. it will sting to start with but does the trick!. you can use this for any sting or bit!. i did for my daughter who was 8 at the time who got stung about 4 times by a wasp and the pain relief was instant!.

two week old mosquito bites should not really be itching!. you may have been bitten by something else!. You may have had an allergic reaction to the bite however!. I think you should see a family doctor and they can prescribe you hydrocortisone cream!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Kill the itch with ice and then some hydrocortisone cream!.

This is the first time I heard about bites that settle and then return!. I hope you find relief and find out what's really causing them to itch again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
