Ok, these past!.!.!.lets see!.!.3 days, Ive been pooping in a combinatioin of Green and yellow Diarrhea!.!.I had never experienced this and been going to the bathroom lately!. Ive taken pepto pismo and Tums to reduce my stomach ache and the Diarrhea!. A day ago, Ive had less poop in a day then today!. Ive researched and found out that Green poop is for food coloring or other!. And YELLOW is very very serious or infection that must be reported!.!.Im only 17 (male)!.!.what the heck is going on and what should i do!? (My mom has been having a stomach ache too!.!.!.was i infected or something!?) Im very scared!.!.please give me fast and best quality answer so i can take fast action!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

green gelatenous diarrhea is a symptom of salmonella!. if you and your mom have been eating some of the same foods, that is likely the culprit!. did your mother develop symptoms the same time as you or around 3 days later!? a bacterial infection presents with symptoms within 24 hours of exposure, where as a viral infection shows symtoms in approx!. 36 hours!. if you have been sick more than 3 days, and your symptoms are not improving, go to a doctor and take a stool specimen with you for them to culture!. if it's resolving itself, stay well hydrated and eat soups and bland foods until it goes away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
