Interesting thought !. !. no evidence exists that smoking can give one cancer of the hand !. !. but no one has studied it!. There are different types of cancers associated with the hand (skin cancer) !. !. primarily they are sarcoma's which are associated with tendons, muscles, joints, soft tissue, blood vessels, fat, and bone!. There are about 60 different types of sarcoma !. !. and no one knows what 'causes' them all !. !. !. !. what is interesting about your idea is that it is known that smoking while pregnant can cause finger and toe deformity birth defects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I smoked cigarettes for many years!. After about about 20 years, I noticed a lesion on my left hand, ring finger, about at the large knuckle!. It stayed there for months!. Finally I saw a doctor!. They removed the lesion surgically!. Pathology results were "dermatitis with precancerous abnormalities!." This hand is the one that often held my cigarette!.
Coincidence, or causation!? I don't know!. I quit smoking a few years after that, and have not seen any other skin abnormalities since then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have never seen cancer affecting either the muscles or bones of the hand in 30+ years and only one case of secondary malignant melanoma on the skin of the hand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No!. Cancer is something that affects organs, lungs, livers etc or particular systems like your lymphatic system!. It won;t targer something like a foot or a leg but something in it or on it like your skinWww@Answer-Health@Com
