You can give herpes to your kid!. If you have an active outbreak you are more likely to sperad the virus, however if there are no symptoms showing there is still a small chance you could pass it on through viral shedding!. Viral shedding usually occurs a few days before a herpes breakout!. Its when the virus sheds with no visible symptoms!. It is not likely that you'll pass it on with no symptoms showing, so just dont kiss the kids while experiencing an ob, or if you feel a tingle or burning sensation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as mentioned above, there would have to be some SERIOUS foul play in order for a choild to get herpes!. As long as the individual affected does not touch any mucus membrane (eyes, mouth, etc) without washing, a child should be safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it is genital herpes, and you don't have sex with your kid, they aren't going to get it!.
