How can you catch thrush?!

Question: How can you catch thrush!?

I currently have thrush and am treating it with canesten duo relief!.

I haven't had sex since before the intching began 2 days ago!. However before this, i'm guessing the infection may have been live in my body!.

Now the day before i got the symptoms, me and my boyfriend had sex using a condom so i'm guessing he can't catch it like that!?! but the day before that he gave me oral sex!. Now i'm worried he's going to get oral thrush!?

How likely is this!? and how soon will the symptoms show!? e!.g!.would he notice by now!?

Also, how long will it be before i can have sex/oral sex without the risk of passing it on!?

Aside from this, i'm concerned if he maybe has caught the infection but with no symptoms or something then he may pass it back to me!?!

I don't think you can catch thrush!. I think you get thrush or yeast from fungal infections!. Most of the time the natural bacteria in your body can fight the infection without you even having any symptoms!. Bacterias and fungus tend to grow best in dark, warm and moist environments!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

thrush is a yeast infection if he gave you oral sex and you had a yeast infection than it is quite possible for him to have it in his mouth!. you need to take care of the yeast before having unprotected sex orally or through intercourse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can catch thrush this way, it is VERY contagious, both of you need to be treated with the mouth rinse and pills if he develops signs and symptoms!.
