DO NOT rub poison oak or ivy on any party of your body!. Why would someone write that!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? That's insane!.

Use calamine lotion, also Aveeno makes a bath soak that is good for poison ivy/oak!. Also, just DO NOT scratch!.

I've had poison Ivy and Oak several times during my life because I grew up on a farm!. If you can get to a doctor they can prescribe something to make you more comfortable but if you cannot you can just use anti-itch creams that they sell at any pharmacy!. You can ask the pharmacist and they will tell you what is best!.

Good luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Haven't had it for several years, but I always use to get it when I was younger!.

Don't scratch!.
Take oatmeal baths (take a flour sack cloth, put in a couple scoops of oatmeal, tie up the sack so nothing can come out--I use a strong rubber band, boil water and add the sack for a few minutes to cook the oatmeal, put the parcel in your bath--make sure you don't open it or you'll be cleaning up a clogged sink! For extra goodness, squeeze the juice onto your skin once it's cooled down a little bit)!.

Calamine lotion!.

TIME!.!.!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to the doctor (i just had this) ASAP whether it is bad or not!.

besides calamine lotion the best relief i found was rubbing alcohol due to it dries out the natural oils from the plant on your skin!. do not run under hot water as it feels good instantly but makes it worse over time!.

but get medical attention
