Nickel testing kit; why is the swab brown?!
Question: Nickel testing kit; why is the swab brown!?
My dermatologist gave me this nickel testing kit,( since im allergic) to make sure there isn't nickel in the jeans or belts im wearing!. It's just this swab with chemicals that i rub on the metal part, and if the swab turns pink that means there is nickel present!. When I tested one of my belts, the swab went brown!. Is this another metal, or can it still be made of nickel!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

High level of Cobalt will turn swab tip brown and high levels of iron will turn the tip green!. In the presence of nickel swab will turn pink!.
Also call your local phramacy, and they should assist you!.
