When you go to the doctor and get a diagnoses of being a diabetic, then you will want to tell everyone around you that you are diabetic!.
I worked with a lovely young girl that all of a sudden she began to act like she was drunk, and I do mean wasted!. She was stumbling and mumbling and I was trying to figure out what on earth was going on!. She collapsed and I called 911!. If I had known she was diabetic, I would have immediately recognized that she was having a LOW and needed some sugar immediately!. but I had no clue, I thought she had been drinking during her break time!. Thankfully the paramedics found a tester in her purse and realized she was diabetic and gave her what she needed and pow she was back to normal just like that!. but I wished she would have told us all so I would not have thought she was drunk and I could have helped her before the ambulance showed up!.
