Question: My hamster has pasty skin including flakiness and hair loss!?
hi i don't know what is wrong with my dwarf hamster, she is acting normal but she has different spots and has pasty flaky bald skin in at least 3 spots!. i changed the bedding to paper towel and the cotton we cave her smells like the medicine like the medicine it used to be in maybe that is why also my sister is getting a rash from it on her face and my dwarf hamster is 7 months old what is wrong with my hamster!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

my dog had the same EXACT problem!.
is your hamster in normal temperature in the room you keep him!? usually too much heat effects animals skin sometimes!. try putting him in a kinda cool room and see if you see an improvement!. but when in doubt go to the vet if you can!. they have creams you can use for that, but i used this Eucerin calming creme on my dog and her skin started getting better in a few days & she had no side effects!. its all natural too!.
