I had bad acne when i was younger and I used the proactive system and it worked a little!. But, I got tired of using it so I just started to wash my face a lot!! I would shower in hot water and scub my face really good with soap and when I rinsed it off and it was all done being washed I rinsed it again with pure cold water!. using hot water opens your pores up and you can wash all the dirt out with soap!. Then rinse it off with hot water again!. Using a cold second rinse will close up your pores so that it will be harder to get dirt back in!. Periodically throughout the day if my face got dirty or oily I would use a stridex pad or wash my face again, this keeps your pores clean throughout the day!. Then at night wash it one more time to be sure it's clean for bedtime!. using the same technique as in the shower!. AVOID wearing Make-up! many people try and cover up with this and it is horrible for your skin!. So, aviod using make-up because it will really inflame and irritate your skin!. Also a good tip to know!. Wash your bedding often!!! keeping a clean pillowcase on your pillow means you are not rubbing old dirt skin or oils from your hair and face into your clean skin at night!. A dirty pillow case or bedding from sweating the night before or just not getting changed can make trying to have clean skin a problem!. Also, try and wash your hair like you did your face!. Your hair foliccals carry and store a lot of oils and dirt making sure to clean your hair well and rinsing in cold will help to keep your hair clean too!. That way if you are wearing your hair down or by your face it is not adding dirt or oil buildup from your hair!. I found that if you shower everyday and keep your hands, hair, and face clean as much as possible then it will start to be less oily and clear up a lot of acne on your face!. I say hands because people tend to touch their own faces a lot and that is another way to add dirt into the pores of your skin!. I hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suffer with the same type of skin, and it completely sucks!.

One suggestion I have is to change your pillowcase every couple of weeks!. Your hair has a lot of natural oils and when you toss and turn or bury your head in your pillow, the oils can get on your face causing pimples!.

Lemon juice can get rid of pimples also, but after you rub it onto your skin, sometimes it burns!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okkkk I have the same problem but its not that bad and it clears up after a while so dont worry :)
-Drink 2L of water a day(pretty easy if you carry around a water bottle and take sips every so often)
-Obviously like, wash your face twice a day, and try not to use oil based moisturisers etc
-Keep your hands away from your face! they harbour soo much bacteria and when its transferred can cause spots
-Some spot creams can only aggravate the condition and clogs pores which will lead to oil build up, and therefore more spots, Ive had alot of epxperience with spot creams and Id say porducts like Witch hazel would be best, savlon is actually very good to help clear up spots but doesnt keep them away :/

Unfortunatly everyones skin is different so it's hard to find a product that works for you, im still tyring to find a decent face wash lol Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
