Answers:
Most likely not cancer, but it's always best to make sure!. So don't worry about it, but do go to the doctor!. You'll sleep better!

Somewhere I saw the signs of melanoma, which is the most deadly form of skin cancer, alphabetized for easy recall:

A for Asymmetrical (that is, it is not the same shape on both sides)
B for Border, irregular, not a nice, neat round thing
C for Color, often more than one color in the same "mole," or it changes
color
D for Diameter, the size of a pencil eraser (1/4" or larger) and/or showing
signs of growing

Other forms of skin cancer exist, but they are more easily treatable!. Still, it's worth getting them checked out!. For instance, any mole or other growth that is bleeding (though this doesn't necessarily apply when you yourself have been causing the bleeding), or just a small spot in your skin that may or may not look flaky and stays red for days and days and smarts when salty sweat gets into it, should be checked out!. I had one like that on my forehead and when they cut it out and sent it to pathology it was found to be a "pre-cancerous lesion!." By then it was all gone, of course, so nothing else had to be done!. I was glad I had it checked, though!. It never came back!.

Always, if you are worried about cancer, it is most likely NOT, but better safe than sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only your doctor can tell you that!. But, its better to have it checked out than to not and be sorry later!.Good luck and hope it all turns out well for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Assume it is cancer until it is ruled out!. A melanoma would be a major health issue if left untreated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
